MTV News revealed that actor Mark Strong (Sherlock Holmes) will likely be cast as the classic Green Lantern arch-villain, Sinestro, in the movie. At first, Sinestro will be a mentor to GL/Hal Jordan played by Ryan Reynolds. But as in true comic continuity, Sinestro will show his true colors and will be a villain in the sequel. And with a name like Sinestro, that's pretty much a given.

More Green Lantern casting news!
