Marvel Entertainment profits drop!

Marvel Entertainment has reported a 60% drop in earnings in the 3rd quarter due to lower film revenue according to superherohype.com. Marvel's Chairman, Morton Handel, explains that, "Anticipation for the high profile Iron Man 2 feature film continues to build, and we are focusing our efforts on the film's May 2010 release and the related licensing opportunities." They are also continuing to work on Thor, The First Avenger: Captain America, and The Avengers films.
Heroes loses cast member!
TV Guide has confirmed that Adrian Pasdar, the high flying politician Nathan Petrelli of NBC's Heroes, has been let go from the show. The character has been in and out of "death" in the past couple of seasons but it looks like this is the final nail in the coffin. He's not the only thing Heroes and NBC is losing this season. They're also losing viewership. Bring back Chuck now!
Green Lantern director on moving film location!

Green Lantern director Martin Campbell talked about the recent change in film location for the superhero sci-fi flick to Empire Online recently and gave them some insight on the change. He states, "He's the only superhero to my knowledge who regularly goes to another planet," and, "Superman and Batman were essentially locked into a particular city. The Lantern isn't so Earthbound." He made it clear that the location of the shoot, which is now New Orleans, won't ultimately matter for the visuals for GL due to the film's outer space locations.
